Wood & Wheels Skate Shop

Great shop and a great part of the St. Charles / St. Louis area! In my 30s and decided to get back on a board, so went to W&W to build another deck and it was an awesome experience. The staff were super friendly and the selection was excellent. Even got a few build pointers on the way out. In the age of getting everything off the internet in a day or two, you gotta support the local places when you can and I’m sure to be back!

My wife and I had an awesome experience at Wood & Wheels Skate Shop. The customer service we received from Zoey was superb and honestly sets the bar pretty high for any shop we’ll visit in the future. My wife has been wanting to learn how to skateboard for years, and Zoey immediately made her feel welcomed and comfortable stepping into the culture. She took the time to talk through everything and shared some genuinely helpful tips that will make the learning curve a lot smoother—and way more fun. You could tell right away that Zoey has real years in the skate scene. She helped my wife build the perfect complete and walked us through the nuances of everything—from deck shapes and wheel setups to grip tape preferences—so the board actually fits the rider, not just the shelf. Between Zoey’s knowledge and the shop’s solid selection of decks, wheels, and other components, we were able to dial in a great setup. We walked out of there stoked and smiling ear-to-ear. Big shoutout to Zoey and Wood & Wheels Skate Shop for making the whole experience feel supportive, comfortable and fun. We’ll definitely be spreading the word about this spot!

Let me start by saying the customer service here is top notch. Dominic is such a good dude & really helped my son understand what would work best for his new adventure into skateboarding. I’ve personally skated for years as a young man and being at this shop made me feel 14yrs old again! The conversation was great, the service was outstanding, then taking us on a small tour of the shop was awesome. Really brought back old memories to the point of me going skateboarding with my son when he got his new board that day. Dominic assembled my son’s new board and made sure the ride would be comfortable for him by making sure the trucks were tightened to his liking. If you’re in need of anything skateboarding, I highly recommend this place!

Got back on a board after about 10 years off. Feels great to fall again 🤙can't beat their shop deck price and quality, and always a great selection of pro boards. It's awesome to see that the atmosphere, and customer service in this shop is just as great as it was when I was a teenager! Still the best shop around!

Super helpful and lots and lots of decks in-stock, helmets, shoes, a real one stop shop. They walked my kids through buying their first boards and helped teach them how to assemble them. They didn't get frustrated at all and were pretty rad about answering all the questions from my newb kids. We drove an hour from Illinois to come here and it was well worth the trip.
